Our fleet currently consists of twenty Boeing 717 aircraft, operating regular services to capital cities and regional centres across Australia.

National Jet Systems has established bases in Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart, Canberra and Melbourne.

It’s an exciting time to join National Jet Systems as we prepare for significant growth with the introduction of 29 A220’s, commencing at the end of 2023. The A220’s will offer substantial opportunities for our flight crew in the future and introduce leading industry best-practice in the way we train and promote our crews and operate the new aircraft.

National Jet Systems is seeking seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified pilots who are interested in a First Officer role.

To be selected for this role, you will have:

  • Hold an Australian ATPL (A) or CPL (A) with MCC and passes in all ATPL theory subjects
  • Have a minimum of 2,000 hours total aeronautical experience
  • Have at least 500 hours in Command on multi engine aircraft (may include AICUS)
  • Hold a current Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating
  • Hold a CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
  • High level of operational performance
  • A working knowledge of CASA regulations and industry guidance and requirements
  • An ability to work independently and part of a team
  • An ability to interact and collaborate with a number of stakeholders
  • Be eligible for an Australian Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC)
  • Hold a passport with at least 12 months’ validity
